Nalgonda: The Swami Ramananda Tirtha Institute of Science and Technology, Nalgonda, organised a two-day workshop on ‘Android application development' for creating awareness about the latest technological trends and providing opportunities to students of computer sciences & engineering and IT departments to enhance/mould their career.

Personnel of Tryen Technologies Pvt Ltd provided the necessary support in conducting the event on January 30 and 31. According to the faculty, the students were able to gain hands-on knowhow in developing an android application thus achieving the aim of the endeavour. The faculty members who included T. Shivashankar Reddy, principal, and T. Madhu, head of the department, pointed out that students from the district rarely get such exposure.

Students who took active part in the workshop were Benazir, Abdul Masood, Prudhvi Raj, Ayesha, Himansu, Afeeq, Hameed, K. Keerthi, P. Mounika, Keerthana and P. Swetha. Girish Kumar Shakya, Mayurdev Sevak, both corporate trainers, and Thomas George, business associate, of Tryen Technologies, attended.
